Let's be honest...when someone walks in a GM, Fiat, or Volkswagen dealer...their expectations/standards for an automobile aren't really the highest to begin with

But kudos to GM, Fiat, and Volkswagen...may god bless you and your mislead customers...

Let's assume that the findings are accurate, unbiased, and truly reflect the experiences of the car buyers. So what? What conclusions can we draw from that, and how would that change our decisions?

One effects I believe it won't have, is to sway buyers from Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti and Jaguar showrooms (examples of premium cars) and have these folks rushing to see what GM, Chrysler, and VW have to offer.

In *MY* mind, this survey simply tells me that the companies and cars noted are better in some ways than they used to be. That's nice.

Of all three brands I would only be happy with a new Silverado or a 2016 yellow Camaro.

Volkswagen is to affordable cars what Mercedes, Porsche, BMW and Audi are to premium cars.
