Rendering Shows Just How Alfa's Giulia Can Dominate The Premium Segment - Are There Any Stones Unturned?
A hypothetical rendering is showing us how the entire Alfa Romeo Giulia lineup will look like, if the carmaker will decide to give it a go.

Even since it was officially unveiled a few weeks back, the Alfa Romeo Giulia has made the company’s fans go mad and since the model is not available for order, just yet, all they can do now is read everything there is on the new sedan and check out new renderings. Speaking of renderings, the image posted above is showing us how the entire lineup of the vehicle might look like if the car manufacturer will decide to diversify it.

Yes - we don't know how well they will compete on price = among other things like how the cars actually run. (Both dynamically - and reliability)

And we also don't know how the competition will respond as well too. So far all we have is a "dream" sequence.

The Giulia should be reliable given that it's a shortened version of the Ghibli which itself it largely a Chrysler 300. Lots of components are shared. The Ferrari "inspired" V6 is largely made in Kokomo Indiana. If Dodge can get 707 horsepower through a transmission and rear end reliably, then the 510 in the Giulia should be no issue either. The real question will be whether with the turbos cranked up, will the motor be durable.

Getting power out of an engine is easy. Just ask any import tuner boy with NOS on his Civic. Making it durable is much harder.

I know that Alfetta and Giulietta are historic names at Alfa Romeo, but I'd go with new names in The States for those two products. Alfetta is so very Chevette sounding i.e. an unclever pun on the brand name. I'd love to see them call the larger car the Giorgio.

I'd also give the Giulia coupe fastback styling and some sexier lines and call it the GTV.

As for any of this coming to fruition...with FCA being cash poor, I have my doubts and if they do happen, more mainstream products will be neglected.

They've already slow tracked the minivan, the next Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, and Wagoneer did that happen so that the Giulia could be fast tracked?
