SPIED And BUSTED: Next-Gen BMW 5-Series And Testers CAUGHT!

Although it may seem like the current-gen BMW 5-Series only debuted yesterday, it's starting to get long in the tooth. While Mercedes-Benz is busy tooling away and getting ready to debut its all-new E-Class, the Bavarians aren't far behind.

That's because in recent months an all-new 5-Series has been spotted testing abroad. And today, our very own Agent 001 snapped photos of the all-new 5'er testing right here in SoCal. To be more specific, Palos Verdes/Rancho Palos Verdes.

SPIED: Next-Generation BMW 5-Series

It seems that BMW's engineers have good taste in roads. This is the same exact road I test drove the McLaren 650S Spider repeatedly in the wee hours of the morning. Jeez, that was good fun.

Anyhow, as you can see in the extensive photos below, 001 caught a BMW 3-Series and a camouflaged 5-Series convoy as they made their way around Palos Verdes.
