Fusion Vs. Mazda6 Which Is The Sexier Mainstream Sedan?
ere’s an idea for “Punk’d,” MTV’s version of “Candid Camera.” Set up a fake Aston Martin auto dealership. Stock it with two dozen Ford Fusion Titaniums, strip off their “Ford” logos, and replace them with Aston’s winged badge. Then watch the buyers descend.

Whoa! When did Aston come out with a $38K midsize sedan? I’ll take two.

Yes, the 2016 Ford Fusion is that stunning. We’re jaded by now because there are 5 zillion of them on the road since Dearborn introduced its midsize beauty in 2013. It’s like a pill came out that could transform middle-aged men into Brad Pitt. Pitt’s looks would cease being remarkable. Ditto the Fusion. It lacks an Aston’s exclusivity, but it’s made midsize sedans stylish again.

Ford is nice. Mazda is nicer and sexier - more Italian in style too. Mazda is the better of Asian brands for design - except interiors - they need to focus more on interior design

Completely agree. Feel the 6 is the best looking of the bunch, but their interior is one of the worst. Looks like it comes from a past generation. If the Ford made is current styling extremes just a tad sportier, it would be the winner of looks. With that said, I would buy the Ford of any car in the segment for its overall style,

I've always thought the Ford fusion looks nice. The mazda has a nicer rear end than the ford but overall Ford fusion looks better.

Really? Are we really reading an article about who's "sexier" from The Detroit news???? Autospies, have a nice day...The Mazda 6 has been out far longer than this Aston rip-off..aging quite well! In my honest opinion, I'd be embarrassed to drive the Ford...looks too much like an Aston..come on! Let's not even talk about paying for it..and watching it depreciate like ice melting in THESE summer days.

Mazda 6..what an opportunity for Mazda. In a segment where this Mazxima was vomited (LMBFAO) Mazda can only go up. My issue was the lack of V6 or respectable turbo alternative....But sexy??? Yes!

"Sexy" in the same sentence as Ford had better also include Mustang...V8, at that!

Mason you hit it right on the head, the 6 is a looker and the only thing missing is a V6.

I see nothing appealing or desirable in Ford ripping off Aston Martin styling.

it bothers me so much that ford basically makes the rapide not special.

I spent some extensive time in a Fusion Hybrid (& C-Max) - office pool cars. I appreciate the Titanium versions as they have a mature professional style & comfort but aren't super "flashy". The EcoBoost versions are definitely "sleeper" hot rods.

The Mazda6 however is very sporty but lacks the engine & available AWD features to prove it. I hate fakers & the Maz6 is definitely "faking it" just enough to get some descent industry nods. Mazda could use all of Ford's EcoBoost engines though.
