Aston Martin Eyes Possible US Locations For New SUV Construction

Aston Martin is reviewing more than 10 sites in Europe, the U.S. and other global locations for a new factory to build its first crossover.

A company spokesman for the UK automaker told Automotive News Europe that the “evaluation of multiple global locations continues,” adding that more than 10 locations are in the running

Aston Martin needs a new plant for its DBX crossover because its only factory in Gaydon, central England, has no room for expansion.

Last week, British Prime Minister David David Cameron told BBC News that he would “make available” a former air force hanger in Wales for production of the crossover.

Maybe there will be a turn-key automotive plant in Fremont, CA in the bay area available for Aston's use by then! Such plant may even have employees with EV experience.
