BMW CEO Hints A i5 Plug-In Hybrid Sedan Is On The Way
BMW CEO Harald Krueger hinted that the automaker could add a new car to its i subbrand.

BMW already sells the i3 battery powered compact hatchback and i8 plug-in hybrid sports car.

Krueger said there could be room for a new electric car to be positioned between the i3 and the i8. "There is space if you look at it from the number point of view," Krueger told the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung when asked if he was planning new models.
