DRIVEN + VIDEO: Lincoln's All-New MKX Gets BROKEN DOWN By Consumer Reports — IF You Were Buying Would YOU Give It A Look?
Lincoln is a brand doing its best to resurrect itself from the dead. And, if we're honest, it's nice to see some life from the company. In this writer's opinion, after seeing the Continental Concept I am interested to see what comes next from Ford's luxury division.

That's the thing though. As the company tries differentiate itself from it's blue collar sibling, we still see a bit too much in common. While the MKC broke away from a stylistic perspective, there is still a bit of Escape in it. What about the all-new, 2016 MKC though?

Well, we'll let you decide after checking out this clip from Consumer Reports.

In a tightly packed luxury sport-utility vehicle space, the MKX is certainly going to have its work cut out for itself with competition like the Lexus RX, soon to release Cadillac SRX and typical lot from Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi.

But does the MKX have enough swagger to make you take a look after learning more? Let us know what you think in the comments.

The new MKX is important to Lincoln, as the mid-sized SUV market can make or break a luxury brand. This iteration of the MKX drives and rides better than ever. It feels solid, comfortable and athletic.

Great looking interior. Everything looks refined. The only drawback as with any Ford product is overstated mileage that ends up being mediocre. A diesel as in the Audi Q5 or hybrid would be a great addition.

The MKC and MKX are good efforts but the Ford still shows through too much.

I looked into Lincoln's and Caddy's offering when I was shopping for an SUV early this year, but I didn't care for their exterior or interior styling.

I know what you mean. The Navigator's agedness comes through loud and clear. The MKC is Ok but there really is no reason not to go with a loaded Escape--which looks better as well. The MKX you saw was probably the last generation model. My opinion of the new MKX would be to load up a Ford Edge and go with the better looking vehicle. At Cadillac, I cannot fathom the draw of the Escalade and the current SRX is ungainly and ugly.
