RENDERED SPECULATION: IF Mercedes-Benz's All-New E-Class Looks Like THIS, Will It Be A STUD or DUD?
I am not sure about you all, but I've been waiting to see the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class for quite some time now. Not only is it because the current-gen is far past its prime, it's because the all-new S-Class and all-new C-Class are so damn good.

I just have to see what Mercedes will do next to continue to trounce the competition. And, believe you me, if it continues on its hot streak, cars like the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Lexus GS do not stand a chance.

From what we've seen in the spy shot so far, it's very obvious that the next-gen E will not have its signature, unique style sense. This time around it's going to blend a design that's somewhere between a C and an S. At least that's what I make out from the latest spy shots.

In addition, we know that Mercedes is going to continue delivering a technology tour de force. This company doesn't let up.

But all of this effort is all for naught if the car doesn't look damn good. Having said that, a great artist whipped up a rendering and it's seen below. Check out more of their great work at RM Design.

IF this is what the next-gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class looks like, would you say it's a STUD or a DUD?

After the fastest next generation E-class, I have rendered the ‘normal’ version as well.

Since we already know that the next E-Class will not actually look like that rendering - why ask the question?

Real car buyers do not rate their car as a STUD based simply on the looks of the car. It could depend on how easy it is to pedal it?!!

The face is fussy, but that is a score

Doesn't it look exactly like the current model?

This is a really nice rendering, but the actual product will be a bit more cautious than this. I'm hoping Mercedes gives the new E its own unique headlight and taillight treatments like in the past, but I'm a bit skeptical.

E-Class has always been different from the S & C class's. So I don't think it look close to that quess.

If now the upper sideline crease would be going till tailend, it would get a little less shouting design and that is what Mercedes needs: stylish simplicity, not trendy random creases and lines
