North American Car and Truck Finalists

The North American Car of the Year and North American Truck of the Year awards (NAMBLA) has picked its finalists for 2007 -- 26 cars and trucks from the '07 model year. While the final vote takes place in late December, when a group of 50 automotive journalists will decide the winners, which will be announced at the Detroit show in January.

The finalists in alphabetical order are:

watch out for that new sebring it will sneak up on you like a cock-a-roach. but the s class "should" win. and green line or FJ will take the trucks. like last year the hybrid won the truck market so it seems like the new hybrid will take it this year.

Personally I believe that the winners will be: Toyota Camry and Chevy Silverado, but I would like to be Lexus LS 460 and Honda CR-V

They are most likely picking the Camry Hybrid. If the LS 600h was on the list that would have been the winner no doubt.

However I believe it is going to be between
S-class, Camry, or LS 460.

I'm surprised they put the Honda Fit on this list. Afterall in Asia the Fit is an old model. Honda already announced a redesigned Fit for 2008. It will debut in Asia first, then perhaps a year later everywhere else.
