Trump Throws Ford On The Defensive After Comments On Mexican Assembly Plants
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump came to the home state of the auto industry and attacked Ford Motor Co. for building factories in Mexico. And the Michigan faithful in attendance sided with the outspoken mogul.

“Ford is building a $2.5 billion plant in Mexico,” he roared to a packed auditorium here and 2,000 voices responded with lusty boos. “I’ll actually give them a good idea. Why don’t we just let the illegals drive the cars and trucks right into our country?”

The real estate developer and former reality TV star boasted that “President Trump” won’t let Ford move jobs to Mexico and will persuade  the CEO Mark Fields to bring jobs back to the U.S.

I can't take this joker seriously. His one talent seems to be making money... at any cost. Okay, that and self-promoting. Hit Google to learn about his legal strong-arm tactics to evict an elderly widow from her family home because he wanted her land to build a limousine parking lot.

Something I frequently say is that many of the Western world's ailments can be directly attributed to religion: As long as we continue to worship money, we'll keep on hurting.

I seriously think that Hillary has paid the Donald to get out there and be the front runner because with Trump being Trump, no one is taking Hillary to task for her crimes against the country. I don't think he is serious in any way about being President. I don't like him at all, but in November of 2016 if the choices are Clinton vs Trump, I will have to vote Trump. I don't want the socialist dowager near the white house.

More like Bill ("slick Willie") Clinton took advantage of Trump's huge ego to get him to throw his hat in the ring. Remember Bill Clinton only got 38% of the vote in 1992, with Ross Perot taking a chunk away from HW Bush. With Trump in and possibly going as a third party, the Clinton's don't need a majority to move back to 1600 Penn. Ave. Clever!

Clearly he is not aware of NAFTA. I wonder what the Donald's attitude is about the UAW. If the UAW were not thieving, Gestapo thugs and instead were real partners to the industry that wanted to increase jobs in the USA, then there would be no reason to go to Mexico.

While I agree that the UAW needs reform, Gestapo thugs is a bit over the top. I would also say it is a two way street, top management in most US car companies have been greedy and incompetent as well helping fuel that adversarial vs cooperative atmosphere that unions have in other parts of the world. VW recently was trying to do that in Tennessee - not sure what happened there but last I heard was the Governor was going to remove any incentives they were providing them to locate there if they allowed Unions there, even though VW was trying to structure them similar to the German unions.

Ford builds a car assembly plant in Mexico.

BUT....Chevrolet has been building the engine of the Camaro in Mexico for years! Looks like the big loser is the American worker!

Remember to buy 'American' and keep a Mexican employed!

I know Ford creates and hire more people at a broader range of job skills and pay range than Trump and his "empire" of Mexican golf course maintenance workers and hotel room cleaning maids. But hey, I guess if Trump wants us Muricans to work those jobs and you want to vote for him, good on you.

Ford, like every other car company, is a global business. They build and sell in every nation on the planet that is profitable. Donald Trump is simply a gross racist, who is doing everything he can to get votes from the same faction of Republican primary voters. Once it stops working, his campaign will declare itself bankrupt, which everyone else has already figured out.

Our country has indeed gone mad. We are spending so much time over who made what PC mistake while we are in ruins and burning,

Does anyone realize that illegals kill the equivalent of a 9/11 Americans every year and hurt or main hundreds of thousands of Americans? Am I the only one that sees how they are replacing Americans? Everyone is starting to look Mexican !! Have you seen the ads on TV?? Hardly ever seen on Mexican faces in ALL KINDS OF ADS. Its because the LATINO invasion is winning the minds and hearts of our media and our corporations.

I was in a shop today where I swear 75% of the folks were speaking Spanish and looked like they crossed over our Southern border recently. They were probably mostly Mexican but the point is they are in our country, taking our places and our jobs and we are letting our politicians get away with it. Elect someone who is NOT a politician and will fix this !!!

Does anyone realize that our own internal issues like poor healthcare (hugely inefficient and expensive) is going to destroy us? ISIS is another distraction...

That our political system is completely broken?
We have too many regulations and are ruining any chance of new businesses or existing small businesses being successful and providing jobs?
That we are in 19T $ of debt and are China's plaything?

For God's sake America.

FOCUS ON THE TRUE ISSUES - If we thrive on PC issues even at this point in the game then we will have past the point of no return,

Our issues are BIG yet we talk about inconsequential nonsense!! We need to start moving in the direction of truth and the big picture or we will never survive.
Here's some more data on how many people are killed and hurt by illegals: http://www.firecoalition.com/blog/post/2009/01/Feds--25-Americans-Killed-by-illegal-aliens-Each-DayOKDrug-wars-on-the-borderNot-OK.aspx
