PEBBLE BEACH: FIRST And BEST Quality Pics Of The Hyundai Vision G Coupe Concept's EXTERIOR
Although Monterey Weekend has yet to arrive, the automakers are preparing to make their big splash for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. First to display one of its all-new concepts is Korean automaker Hyundai.

Dubbed the Vision G Coupe Concept, Hyundai revealed a big body two-door that is definitely something unique. Said to be an early representation of what's to come down the 'Pike when it concerns Hyundai's luxury efforts, this Hyundai seems to take some creative license from several luxury auto manufacturers.

After examining Agent 001's in-person photographs, I have to say that I am seeing a bit of Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Cadillac's Art & Science design theme, and even BMW's latest aerodynamic tricks. What makes the Vision G Coupe Concept unique to me is that it blends all of these looks together and it culminates in a rather interesting looking Hyundai product.

Boasting a V8 motor, this concept churns out 420 horsepower and over 380 lb.-ft. of torque.

Rather than rely on studio shots to try and bring this all-new luxurious Hyundai to life, check out 001's painfully detailed shots. No one covers a launch like this, folks!

Ya, it looks ok. Just another Asian car designed by the Western designers from Europe and the United States, meaning some car that has no identity. But I'm sure it will be cheap and reliable anyway.

Eventually that is going to be the future for the Japanese automakers, too. I'm just not surprised by the fact that GT-R and NSX (The very flagship models of those companies! lol!) are designed and built by the Europeans and the Americans. It really shows who has the better technologies and education.

It's like this. You hear the names like NYC, LA, Berlin, Stuttgart, Paris, London, Milan, Geneva, etc, you go "Wow! I want to go there!"

And then you hear Seoul, you go "Is that where Psy is from?"

and then you hear Tokyo, you go "KAMIKAZE! ANIME! MANGA! FUKUSHIMA RADIATION!" LOL

It's eerie how similar Hyundai and Infiniti styling are. The weird thing is that one is a luxury automaker, and the other is known for making "value" vehicles.

Either way, it's not my cup of tea.
