Dodge Avenger Concept a Sneak Peek

We caught a sneak peek at the Dodge Avenger Concept before it debuts in Paris. While officially badged as a ‘concept,’ this is effectively a new global D-segment offering for the brand.

There is no question the Avenger is aDodge, with its aggressive face and the company’s crosshair grille. Charger DNA is also obviously evident in the profile, epecially in the rear fenders. Strangly enough given, Dodge will also show the car with a 2.0-liter CRD turbodiesel, in the French Debut.

Dodge DNA is also apparent in cheap styling features as well as an overall ugly car.

You know what, I like this car.

It has styling cues from the 60's and early 70's.

Looks like a smaller Charger. Didn't they beat this design to death already with the Charger and Caliber? Hate retro design!

it looks like a charger cause they took the fat rear design and put it on a smaller car to make it look more dramatic. with the slimming hood it makes it look almost too much. i hope it turns out a lil better than this.

Do all their cars look the same or is it just me? Lame. Retro styling makes me ill. Only way they can be successful (or attempt to be) is to emulate styles that were successful 30-40 years ago. It's time to look forward.

how do u suppose they can make it more original when it was already a production car? even when it was a production car it wasn't original
