Hell yeah! The current Veyron is such as slouch, I was wondering when Bugatti was going to deliver a *real* speed demon.

Just jivin', folks. I view Bugatti as a sort of arms-race dealer. During the Cold War, the U.S. had enough nukes to obliterate all life on this planet 9 times over, but that didn't stop them from getting even better and making yet more of them! So with Bugatti, it's like 500% insane with the current Veyron, or 550% insane with its successor. Plain insane ain't good enough anymore ;-)

A Bugatti 4-door would be extremely polarizing for the industry as a whole. However, it doesn't seem like today's Bugatti brand would know much about building sedans or coaches.

And the brand would have to contend with the constant media scrutiny around a Bugatti 4-door platform & who it really belongs to or who really developed it or whatever. VW has enough on its plate & a Bugatti uber-sedan would be a gawdy overkill move - as there's currently the A8/S8, Panamera, Continental, & Mulsanne for sale. At the very least, the brand could be open to making a sedan by "order-only" - it would be hand-built & unique to every capable owner.
