CAR WARS! Based On LOOKS Alone, WHO Is The Hottest? Mercedes C63 Or BMW M4?
Mercedes has been on a roll and that looks like it will continue in Frankfurt #IAA with the introduction of the all new Mercedes C63 Coupe.

What a beauty!

And from what we can tell the gun sight is pointed DIRECTLY at Munich and the BMW M4.

We have one simple question...

Based on LOOKS alone, which do you favor as the most gorgeous?

Mercedes C63 Coupe or BMW M4?

We know, it's like choosing a favorite Victoria's Secret model but make a sacrifice for the team and share with the world your choice!

ATSV or RCF

Again - the headline is asking a stupid question - people rarely buy cars in this class - based on Looks alone - at the very least the car has to have an really really good rubber band under the hood!

IMHO, even though its the oldest design by far, the Audi RS5 is still the best looking in this high performance segment.

That car was good looking when it first debuted but, my, my its design has not stood the test of time. Very, very played out.

Disagree with 00R. My coworker just bought a used RS5. Think it still looks aggressive and attractive.

Why buy EITHER car - when if YOU are basing a purchase on LOOK ALONE - buy a cheaper versions - without the performance?

Really a matter of prefence if you want the "look at me I'm trying to look really fast" it's the Bimmer

If you want the undercover too arrogant for flamboyance, just gets down to business, it's the Benz

Neither are "gorgeous".. they're functional, but far from pretty cars. I'd almost have to agree with JokesterS4, I've always thought A5/S5/RS5 is a terrific looking car. Probably the first time I've disagreed with Matt, but the RC-F is butt ass hideous. I however do like the conservative ATS-V. I'm not sure I could really name a car made today I think is gorgeous. El Miraj and the Ciel... yes, gorgeous... but they're just fantasies..

I have to agree on the RF-C being is butt ass hideous. It just way too grossly/untastefully over done and Lexus is trying way to hard to make it look and be something it's not.

I truly think the C63 is an outstanding design and has easily leapt to the front of the class. I also give it credit for not going the traditional 3-square coupe route (hood/passenger area/trunk). It looks like a cohesive and flowing design. I think the RCF attempted the same, but went way off track when the crack pipe was lit.

I do think the M4 is still a great design, too. No, I'm not biased because I almost purchased one, either.. ha! But in my town, M4's seem to be as common as 428i's, so I've seen them enough to not be Wowed by them.

And I do agree that the A5/S5/RS5's design has stood very well against the test of time. From a style perspective only, I still have occasional regrets of giving up my S5.

RC F and Benz! the bmw and audi drivers look like the Jersey Shore cast. Always late to work, because they spend to much time greasing their hair and tan. The Lexus and Benz owners...take time in life...to enjoy floating/pampered in LUXURY.
I always notice bmw/audi/vw in such a hurry on the highway...maybe their late for work at Walmart.

@jameswisrik I agree and their price point begs the question of cross shopping a Mustang GT or presumably a Camaro SS which will have ALL the poise and polish and look better to boot.

I look at the Benz and see blubber. I look at the Mustang and see sinew. The Benz looks like a very nice Accord coupe. The Mustang looks like the icon it is.

I cannot wait to get my hands on the new Camaro.

Matt all I see in you in "jealousy". No one will cross shop an M4/C63 with crappy GTs/Camaros. The Mustang and Camaro are nice cars but for different types of customers. Classless people like yourself with no pedigree would make statements like this. Regardless of their performance they are still FORDS and CHEVYs.

BMW M4 looks much more purposeful and I would expect a bit louder look with these smaller 2dr coupes. The M3/4dr C63 as we'll as the larger 4dr sedan hot rods should be more brute in a suit look.

I still drive my E46 M3. But I'm really liking the looks of this C63. My wife drives an X5 and the BMW interior is just so boooring, including that of the M4. If I were in the market for a new car and these are my two choices, I'll take one look at the M4 then buy the C63.

What I do love about the German trio (new C63, M4, RS5) and even the ATS-V is that they aren't trying to overdo the styling, to the point of being garish and boy-racerish. The RC-F on the other hand is quite over-the-top in its need for attention, but many people do like its styling. Then again, that's the direction of all the Lexus RWD products, too bad their performance doesn't quite match the promise.

What is beautiful is that we have so many performance choices. Variety is the spice of life. Don't be so hard on others who disagree with your preference. Celebrate that there are so many to choose from. If everyone liked the same one we would see ourselves coming and going...
boring! Viva la difference.

Haha. Absolutely agree. But it certainly DOES make a buying decision really difficult.

If I were going to go on exterior style alone:
1 - C63
2 - RS5
3 - M4
4 - ATS-V
5 - RC-F

On interior styling
1 - C63
2 - RS5
3 - RC-F
4 - M4
5 - ATS-V

On performance:
1a - M4
1b - C63
3 - ATS-V
4 - RS5
5 - RC-F

This comment is in response to the one that stacks cars against exterior, interior and performance.

Taste is taste. You like or dislike the way a car looks.

But on performance, sorry, but you are wrong. The RC F has wiped the RS5 consistently in performance runs. There are plenty of videos of the RCF beating the Cadu, and as stated it's far too close to call with the M4--plenty of videos with competent drivers out there.

If you do not have hands on experience with the new RC F Carbon TVD, you have no idea what the car is capable of doing.

There is a lot of biased and uninformed German balderdash commentary here, and I suspect most of it stems from zero experience with the new F. Also, whose grandmother was driving the new F? 4.8? That's ridiculous. Lastly, I am surprised this even made it to Autospies. I respect this source, but in this instance what they are referencing is a joke.

I am sure that you are aware that the RC F topped the M4 and RS5 in Road & Track Motown Mile track test and in the AMCI certified testing (by more than 2 seconds). Surely, this is to be attributed to the role the TVD plays in its “track” setting.

As for pure numbers, the acceleration of the RC F is ironically quite similar to the M4. I managed to run a 4.2 0-60 my first time out with 1,000 miles under my belt in RC F driver experience. The new F hits one 177 mph in 40 seconds--I call that quick.

I offer the following videos for you to watch.

Watch this track run on the Nurburgring. Friends who have tracked both cars agree the RC F is more fun on the track and better handling. The MotorTrend RC F versus M4 Head-to-Head Track Test was virtually a dead heat with Randy Pobst behind the wheel. If he had not over braked the RC F, it would have won.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGnRcrWkz4w&feature=youtu.be

The car has already surprised enthusiasts with the Motorsport comparison of the RC F and M4 in 0-175 mph acceleration.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOfQdGKvM-E

Motorsport stacked RC F and M4 acceleration—an interesting comparison, particularly if you note that the RC F was ahead during the first half of the comparison and running quite close up the max of the M4 and then beyond.

Yes, the M4 is lighter, but it can’t put the power down to the asphalt.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOfQdGKvM-E

I view the RC F as the ultimate win for anyone seeking a road & track car. The weight thing is exaggerated. The car is planted, agile, strong, and quick.

Candidly, if I wanted a pure, dedicated track toy, I would not by the RC F or the M4. The stripped Cayman is the best track toy in the lot.

If want more comparisons, just go to Fastlaps. It's beating some amazing cars (especially given your misperception that it is no capable on the track).
