Ford In Talks With UAW About Bringing Back Ranger Pickup
Ford Motor Co. is in discussions with the UAW about bringing the Ranger midsize pickup back to the U.S. market, a person with knowledge of the talks said late Tuesday.

The company is considering a plan to build the truck at Michigan Assembly Plant near Detroit after production of the Focus and C-Max ends in 2018, the source said.

Indeed. The BOF small pickup is not what the market will sustain. However, if they did a Fusion Ranchero, they could be ahead of the game. Crossover pickups WILL happen. THAT would be how to gamble.

Needs a 4 cylinder diesel. Small pickeups have crap mileage compared to the full size ones.
