#LAAS: LEAKED! This Is The All-New Hyundai Elantra, FULLY REVEALED On The Factory Floor
Something tells us that when these photos get back around to Hyundai corporate, someone is going to have a very bad day. That's because all-new, revealing snaps of the upcoming Hyundai Elantra have found their way onto the 'net.

Why wait for the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show reveal when you can get a damn fine impression of the all-new Korean car now?

Now that the car's been snapped on the factory floor and fully exposed to anyone with a set of eyeballs, it's patently obvious that Hyundai is moving this vehicle's design upmarket. Obviously we have no way of knowing if there will be a comparable, upward movement in price but it's a possibility.

Overall, it looks like the Elantra is getting more of a Sonata/Genesis look to fit in with the rest of the family.

One concern: After inspecting these photos closely it appears that this may not be as all-new as we were promised. It appears to be more of an update, but the same could be said of the current-gen Sonata.

Time will tell.

In the meantime, let us know what you think of the Elantra's new look.

A step backward. Nothing special. Dull. The current Elantra is much more captivating. Is Hyundai the new Audi? They replaced the Sonata with a dull car and now we have the dull Elantra replacement.

I think buyers are looking for a product that looks expensive and is not so evocative anymore.

Precisely! The cooling off of Sonata sales with the restyle should have been their first clue that such a move was going in the wrong direction.

Photos may have been intentional leaks to preempt the upcoming Civic and Prius events. They show a fine refinement and improvement over current styling that had run its course.

A 2/3rds-Sonata?! Makes sense, but...

Seems like they're moving a really good cheap(er) vehicle too far upscale, too fast - for no reason.

This new Sonata took a step-up in being a bit more upscale, but in doing so, overstepped the Azera almost completely. I don't know if Hyundia plans to keep the Azera/Credenza duo, but they really could be credible FWD alternatives - to the RWD/AWD Genesis/K900 mid-level luxury sedans - which could compete well against the FWD Lexus ES & Buick Lacrosse & Toyota Avalon.

A lot of consumers still like the larger simpler (yet comfortable) cars. I'm assuming that's why the Azera has basically hung-on up to this point.
