LEAKED! WHOOMP, There It Is! THIS Is Your FIRST Look At The All-New Toyota Prius
The Toyota Prius has been a remarkable vehicle for Toyota. Not only did it become a huge sensation when Hollywood's A-list crowd made sure to put them in their respective driveways, but it can be argued that it was the catalyst for the hybridization of vehicle fleets.

Since its debut we've seen the Prius morph from what was a rather bland-looking sedan into a unique hatchback that gave the Prius nameplate a presence on the road. Like its design or not, the second-gen Prius made itself known on the road. Same deal with the third-gen car.

The thing is though, the third-gen car was likable. While I am confident not many people will agree with me, I thought the third-gen Prius was a good looking vehicle and it got the job done — 44 mpg and I wasn't even trying.

Now the company has positioned itself to debut the all-new, fourth-generation Prius. While a recent spy shot revealed much of its facade, now we're seeing a lot more of it completely uncamouflaged. With two pictures appearing on a Malaysian Prius fan club site, much of the all-new Prius is seen for the first time.

Featuring a lot of sweeping and swoopy lines, it certainly is...something. I wonder how this design language will impact the Prius V and Prius C?

I'll let you weigh in for yourselves. Scope out the two images below!

I am not a fan of the way they put the Toyota OVAL on the Front Bumper - although that might look better in person. The design is otherwise a real step forward - but with today's oil situation - it may turn out to be a failure - with all but current Prius owners - and with other options from other manufacturers now - there will be those that will not sell.

Nice - Prius customers will love it!

It is more relevant, a better value, and definitely a better vehicle on a technology per dollar/per yen/per euro basis than anything in the Tesla lineup. Prius invented the category and is still on top (though it's not for me, one has to respect the innovation that went into it 15 years ago and in its constantly updated form).

I just wanna to puke in fact they should rename it the Toyota Puke not Prius!!! It's ugly and goofy looking which doesn't surprise me at all considering all the awful design diasters Toyota and Lexus designers are creating. The back end of this Prius is the worst ever and is competing again the Toyota Mirai for ugliest rear end of all cars and all time.

Those that like hybrids will continue to buy and those that do not won't. It's different enough from this year to warrant curious buyers attention. It will continue to sell enough to piss off the naysayers I'm sure. The best thing is it will continue to keep the market share of those that do pay attention to fuel economy. And pls don't lecture me about how truly green or not green the car is, there are those that only care about fuel economy and could care less about handling and other considerations.

Conventional hybridized cars have also siphoned off Prius sales. Prius sales are pretty soft. They are still good, but getting money off is child's play and that used to not be the case.

What is with these trailing headlight and taillight designs Toyota has been coming up with? It's one horrific design after another. This kind of aesthetic might work in homeland architecture, but these are f*cking cars—not temples!

Who is dinging everyone on the postings her since everyone is in agreement of how UGLY this car is. Stand up and be counted; don't hide behind that cloak!! I got to drive a Prius when my Toyota truck needed some service. This had to be the CHEAPEST, UGLIEST car ever. You can have all the reliability you want, but you can't hide UGLY-NESS.

The inside was so cheaply filled with PLASTIC everywhere. The view of looking ahead or behind you always seemed to be obstructed. Just awful.

Picked up my truck, got home and drove my German ride to look at highly craftsmanship interior. Come on you Toyota fans....time to be honest and admit this is just one UGLY car.

@gkearns56 BINGO

I drive to Newport Beach and back once a week and my wife wants me to get a Prius so I can drive the "diamond" lane on the 405 and be home sooner. The Prius is terrible and quite frankly, I am not interested in ANY hybrid. I'd rather be stuck in traffic in the Ghibli borrowed from my father-in-law.

M, it's your lovely Asian car. It's Japanese. You should buy it. I mean, you care "so much" about reliability, right? Then this is the one to buy for you.

This should be called, "Toyota Prius - We Japanese are trying hard Edition-" or something

Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg and Robert Redford each ordered three to put in their driveways. Prius get their best MPG while parked.

I do like this styling, edgy and maintains the universally recognizable icon. Engineering though is what really stands out. Won't be long before gas prices rise and envy grows.

You keep driving GREENHOUSE BOX since someone will have to buy them. It's UGLY.

We know car companies can build a beautiful electric car - Telsa!! BUT!!!! Tesla and Toyota should wed with each other. Toyota can show Tesla how to build a RELIABLE (car), and Tesla can show Toyota Prius you can build an electric care, without it being UGLY. Boy that style is going to really want me to buy one of those. I'll keep my Toyota truck to bum around in before I'll ever get caught in that thing.

If you don't like it, you weren't going to buy a Prius anyway.

Prius owners crave a shitty, shopping-cart ride quality and hideous looks.

This is PERFECT for them.
