The All-New 2016 BMW 7-Series — The BEST Interior Shots You Will NOT Find Anywhere Else
You know how they say "The devil is in the details," well, we like to think of it differently. In the words of Agent 001 "God is in the details."

Perhaps there's not a better way to solidify that point than by scoping out our batch of photos detailing the interior of the all-new BMW 7-Series.

2016 BMW 7-Series

SEE the 2016 BMW 7-Series' exterior HERE!

Fighting alongside the likes of the Audi A8 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW knew it had to step up its game from the last-gen 7'er. We think it's pretty clear that it met the competition, and perhaps, exceeded it.

Not too long ago 001 and I used to lust after the BMW Individual interiors. It seemed that this is the way EVERY BMW should have been outfitted but they just weren't. Clearly though with this all-new 7 the company is definitely delivering that Individual look and feel.

Make sure to take in the all-new switchgear and the leatherwork. I am not sure about you all, but I am digging the pattern work on the seatbacks. Personally, I think the diamond-pattern is a bit played out but this herringbone-like look is pretty killer as it is a unique take on the modern interior.

Having said all of that, scope out the 7's all-new interior, below!

I think you are thinking of those cheap seats in your Lexus IS lol!! But I'm sorry, you shouldn't compare BMW which is a brand heavily loved by tons of rich people all around the world, including the rich people in Japan, when only the poor posers who wish to have something European ends up buying some Japanese crap like Lexus :)

I think this 7 series looks ok. I like the previous model better, but this is ok.

And people who compare this to an S class, you are comparing the wrong cars. S class pretty much should be compared to something like Rolls-Royce and Bentley. BMW has no reason to make a Rolls killer, as BMW themselves own the Rolls-Royce. And Audi doesn't need a Bentley killer either, as VW owns both Audi and Bentley.

The only sad pathetic flagship cars in the market right now are Infiniti Qwhatever and Lexus LS. Both come from the land of sinking sun, Japan, and we all know those two junk compete with something like Hyundai Equus, Nissan Maxima and all kinds of cheap big cars out there lol!

Because honestly, why do people buy Hyundai Equus? Or Maxima? Because they are big, cheap and kind of reliable. Lexus is the same.

If there was no reliability at all, Lexus would be out of business and Toyota knows it. Who collects Japanese cars anyway? No one. Because rich people know the Japanese cars have no heritage nor anything. No value at all. I've seen tons of people collecting BMW, Mercedes-Benz, etc. Who collects... Lexus? LOL!

But hey, the Japanese cars sure are valuable in the used car market lol!

The seats look like they came from a BDSM dungeon. That's fine is that's how you roll, but this is gaudy.

I'm sort of agree. There's a lot of showiness in this interior. braided piping on the seats, fussy, stitching, shiny things... If this were an American car it would be labelled as "vulgar and overdone". But since it's European it will probably get by with being "tasteful with great attention to detail".

Very disappointing. When this was first introduced, the interior looked nice. But these shots (and maybe it's the diarrhea color) just makes it look pretty ordinary. The "fancy" trim looks gaudy. The entire instrument panel/console/center stack is just a dressed-up 3 Series. Not even a 5 Series. As I said about the exterior, primarily BMW loyalists will buy this. I don't foresee many conquest sales from Audi or Mercedes.

Oops, the A8 is now my second favorite. BMW just missed big time here.

The front steering wheel and gauges looks like some big eyed person is staring at you with their tongue stuck out. The seats look overdone and what's up with that braided piping that looks like it belongs in some country western edition car. I have to agree with cidflekken, the dash and looks like it came from a 3 series but just a lot less plastic, even those little dual temp buttons cheapens the dash + it looks out dated already. This interior is not nearly as refined as the S-Class which is and looks like very high end car. I was expecting way more from this car's design being that it's the flagship but it's a real let down and I really don't think BMW put a lot of effort redesigning it. SAD!

The cars is superb and excellent. Hater is going to be hate must of them not even have a money to buy a cheap Korean car , and they usually say crap about something great when they can't buy it something like this . This 7 series is great. Ah I also forgot probably some others comment from haters could be from people that work for Korean dealers , anyway to much work and unhappiness for them. I really enjoy my BMW and soon I am going to get this one too. Lol. Masterpieces are not for everybody , they are created for people with taste.

Who are you trying to convince? Us or yourself? So much desperate overcompensation.

I'm very open-minded about the new 750i. I've driven "S" MB's for the past 12 years - S430, S55, a 2008 S550 and a 2013 S550. I purchased the 2013 as a CPO because I didn't like the MB's 'jumbo-tron' instrument panel, I didn't like the melted soap bar styling, and I didn't like that the new S550 only came with run-flat tires (no spare tire option at all).

I will probably purchase a 750i because its interior is less "out there" than the MB's, BMW offers a spare tire (even with run-flats), and because the styling is more appealing to me.

Time will tell, but I think the BMW looks much more youthful and more tasteful than the S550. I'll get mine a year from now, after all the kinks are sorted out.

its decent but doesn't really change the game. S class remains king, followed by the 7 series, A8, xj8, , ls460.

if i was buying used the lexsucks is the only one worth buying for cheaper maintenance and greater reliability

I see lots of GM touches... not my cup of tea. They might be packing in the tech, but they are losing their identity. Look to MB if you want quality design. It's hard to find a worse interior at this price level. Anyone with eyes should be appalled by this monstrosity. Just disgusting!
