12 year old boy drives dad's McLaren 650S 163 MPH

At a recent 1/2 mile event a 12 year old boy drove his dad's McLaren 650S down the airstrip hitting 163 MPH while racing another car. It's quite surprising the dad and event organizes would allow such a thing to happen.

clearly the dad has a lot of money if he has a mclaren. He figured if anything happens, he could always buy a new son.

Maybe the son is on lease, about to be returned to the dealer anyway, as the lease term is up? He may have to pay up for wear and tear however.

Certainly couldn't advocate this as a general rule but this kid of means could have been a kart racer since he was 4. Probably more qualified than most in this country regardless of age.
