EXCLUSIVE! Spies Get FIRST Snap Of Cadillac XT5 INTERIOR!

EXCLUSIVE! Spies Get FIRST Snap Of Cadillac XT5 INTERIOR!
In spectacular fashion, Cadillac used the opening of NYC's Fashion Week to give the glitterati a sneak peek of the XT5 SUV that will replace the SRX.

They tried to keep it to just a tease, not wanting to reveal any key details before the official launch.

But they slipped and the Spies were able to get you the FIRST photo of the interior! Plus a few others from the tease..

From our launch story....

Our friends over at Cadillac confirmed today that the long awaited XT5 crossover will make its official debut at the Dubai Motor Show, followed shortly thereafter after with a North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.  This long awaited SRX replacement is pivotal if Cadillac it going to finally make it as a global luxury player.

While this is great news, the bigger story might be the grumblings deep in the dark web.  It seems that the XT5 is just a stepping stone for the American automaker with the real deal being a XT7 3 row crossover.  Maybe the naming nomenclature is a hint to bigger and better things to come? While it is too early to tell when we will see a RX killer in the flesh, it would serve Cadillac well to start chipping away at the increasing odd looking crossovers from Lexus.  The time has never been riper as Japanese brand has been getting a bit lazy in cutting edge design over the last few years and a new fresher design just might steal away more than  a few buyers from the Japanese luxury brand.

So now it is time to ask the experts, is the time right for a three row version of the XT5 and who should it target?

I have a question for all
Is it just me or do most of you drive with your hands at 10 and 2 - and with the Speedo And Tach placed widely apart on the dash - YOU actually cannot see it most of the time - do you have the same problem.
This is the same as the dash configuration on my new Chrysler Mini-van - and the speedo becomes worthless.

MDarringer - Cannot drive at 9 and 3 in most of todays cars that is where the spokes of the wheel come in - and they generally are quite wide to allow for lots of switches to be put on them

I drive at 11 or 12 with my left and the other on the stick. Even if it is an auto... All I need to see is the Speed o.

I drive with hands at 9 and 3--it's a track thing--for better reaction time. I find 10/2 to be rather uncomfortable on a long distance drive.

WTF does Cadillac's slogan "dare greatly" mean? That has to be one of the most stupid tag-lines ever.

What that means is simple. Cadillac is trying to say "Try not to be like Lexus, if you actually want to be taken seriously."

The meaning is pretty literal and in theory is a powerful statement but to me it sounds like "we try really super very very hard"

Matt said the car would resemble a Hugo Boss suit... the Silver/White one in these pics does indeed look pretty sharp... however that's not much of an interior shot.... CUE looks improved, but then again, I use it every day and think its just fine.

Well you must be in the minority then because CUE is a diasaster and one of the least consumer friendly infotainment systems on the market, and the distracting touch sensitive buttons...someone at Cadillac needs to be fired.

Lexus customers to be won over by a Cadillac copy, now that is funny.
