#IAA: TEASED! Mercedes-Benz Gives Us Just A Glimpse Of What's To Come, In More Ways Than One...
Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser image of an all-new concept car making its debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA). As if the all-new Mercedes C-Class Coupe and S-Class Convertible were not enough.

Not much is known about what's being called the Concept IAA. The only bit of information comes to us via this picture.

And considering so much of it is hiding, it leaves a whole lot up to your very own interpretation. For now there is no right or wrong answer.

So, after observing the picture, I am going to put my neck on the line and hazard a guess. To me, it appears as though this Concept IAA will follow in the footsteps of the F 015 Luxury in Motion concept that debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Don't recall? No worries, I've attached an ass load of shots below.

Aside from that, I have absolutely NO idea what this car will be.

Considering there's already two all-new model debuts that are quite conventional, I wouldn't be surprised to see the three-pointed star take one of the year's biggest automotive events and get a little forward thinking. The TWO big auto shows where manufacturers push the limits — stylistically — are the Paris Motor Show and Frankfurt Motor Show.

Care to place a bet?

The image shows that the concept is a fully formed car and suggests that it is relatively conventional in terms of shape. More information is expected before the show kicks off, with Mercedes holding a preview event on Monday evening before the press day in Frankfurt on Tuesday.

I hope it's nothing like the ugly F015.

Funny, I think your last sentence is the entire goal of the brand, in other words if you want to see where the industry will be 10 years from now, test drive an S Class today

True, the S Class is a magnificent car that points to the future, but it's also ironically nothing like how the future will be.

I know it's a concept, but that's just strange looking...

The A pillars are so ridiculously wide as to be a LETHAL danger to occupants and pedestrians. Visibility is extremely and unacceptably limited.
Stylists are as dumb as dirt. They need high school education before been issued a pencil.

If you understood the purpose and function of this car, you'd know why the A-pillars' width is irrelevant.

Not irrelevant stylistically...I mean you can be Ok riding in what looks like a rolling NAZI gas chamber--whatever floats your boat, but the rest of us aren't! LOL
