Considering we know the company is working on an all-new, fully electric Q6 this may be the four rings' way of testing the waters.
Just a refresher of the key facts. Total system output is around the 430 horsepower area with boost taking you up to about 500 ponies and 590 lb.-ft. of torque. Zero to 60 happens in 4.6 seconds. According to Audi the vehicle can do about 310 miles on a full charge and it will take approximately 50 minutes to juice up.
While this all sounds great, make sure to scope out 001's up close and personal images, below.

That is one gorgeous SUV! If the production version looks anything like that, I'm picking one up.

Audi has braces for the grill! Braces should be gold and diamonds for the rappers! Back and side looks like Lincoln Mkz! Ugly as hell! A face only a kardasian would f**k for money! Audi gone gangster!

The grille is a little too much going on. The Audi Logo should have been on the hood rather on the grille to give the front a better balance. The grille isn't ugly to me but it's not the best design.

The Audi Aztec? Do they really have to go there?
As for the virtual dashboard, Audi seems to have focused on whizzbangery to showcase the technology rather than developing a solid, unintrusive implementation that enhances the user's experience.
I'm also not good with the straight lines, flat surfaces, and abundance of trapezoids, which reminds me of styling from the 1970s, when it looked like just about everything was design-by-ruler.

Did they have a graphic using an old busted late-90s Cadillac parked on the street in front of the concept vehicle? lol...too funny...

I am somehow Ok with the rear lights and how they meet in the Audi logo. Everything else is bad
