#IAA: Volkswagen Says Companies Like Google And Apple Will Not Stall Quest To Dominate Industry

In its traditional Volkswagen Group Night this evening in Frankfurt Volkswagen made it clear that it is not about to concede the future of the automobile to the likes of Tesla Motors  and Google  Proof of that is the Audi e-tron quattro concept that it showed on the eve of the opening media day at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The show vehicle is a sleek, stylish all-electric SUV that some might dismiss as auto show grandstanding, but Audi leaves little doubt the e-tron quattro is a harbinger of an upcoming production vehicle. So is you have year heart set on a Tesla Motors Model X, you might want to keep an eye out for this impressive Audi.

Of course not - because the VW problem is actual reliability issues. Maybe they could stop making cars in Europe and start making most of their cars in the USA.

VWAG buying FCA would make tremendous sense for VWAG. They definitely should NOT let Mercedes/Renault/Nissan do it.
