#IAA: STUD or DUD — Does Alpina's Modifications Take These BMW's Appearance Up A Notch?

Alpina and BMW have had a long-standing partnership extending back decades now. While I am not particularly a fan of Alpina's work for a couple reasons, I will do my best to remain objective here.

2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA)

Anyway, at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, the auto manufacturer that completely reworks BMWs showed up with a slew of offerings. As you can see, the company showcased a variety of its abilities across the BMW product portfolio — 3-Series, X3, 4-Series Cabriolet and 6-Series.

The ornaments are icing on a well thought out performance upgrade under the hood and to the suspension. A driver's car first and foremost.

IDK, I have never been thoroughly impressed by Alpina's mods.

I don't get why I'd get one of these over a proper M car from the real deal.
