#IAA: How Do YOU Like Me Now? The Audi R8 V10 Plus Seen In A WAY Better Color Combination — Does It Change YOUR Impression?
When the second-gen Audi R8 made its very first appearance, controversy swept the web. There was pretty good reason for it. If you compared it to the original R8, something was off.

It just didn't have the same visual impact.

2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA)

Up until now, I can only remember seeing red, blue and matte blue examples of the all-new sports car from the four rings. Well, my friends, today that's going to change.

Audi outfitted an R8 V10 Plus with a unique flat gray color and a blood red interior. Enhancing this are a set of massive, black, cross-spoke gloss wheels.

Looking like the color used on the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition, Anvil, we're a bit drawn to it for an obvious reason — we're fans of the Jeep.

So, what say YOU, Spies? How do you like the Audi R8 V10 Plus NOW?

For me the R8 continues to be ugly as sin. I don't care about its credentials.

And seeing it in Naval Gray makes it even more ugly - as if that were possible.

I just continue to see a Bloated TT, how does a car with so much weight saving materials manage to look so Obese?

I MUCH prefer the form of the outgoing R8. I don't care for the new front end, rear end, or lights.

Primer gray, even when shiny, still looks like primer gray. Not a good color.

In the "I gotta be a top dog" (or at least have you believe I am), a V10 meets the demand. I'd rather have a V8 and save a bundle of cash, and still get more performance than I can handle.

The crowded steering wheel might be justifiable for F1 racers, but for people on the street, it smacks of "look at me! I'm just like the racers!"

I used to ache for an R8! Audi has cured me of that.

Give me a Stingray for a lot less and watch the Audi be humiliated.

The current model is much more fluid and cohesive. Comparatively, this falls short. And that leg rest/guard thingie on the center console looks intrusive.

the car is beautiful but i agree that the older generation kinda looks better. im sure the new style will grow on me because i dont like having old cars. the color is absolutely garbage.

just a side mention, after seeing this, no question id rather get the new NSX over the R8.

This is the most bland color I've ever seen. I like it.

Agreed. Not an R8 fan but the color somehow works here well. Reminds me of older German cars

I am not sure if it's called something else overseas, but I believe that color is called Nardo gray, not Naval gray.
