Cadillac Ponders Moving Escalade Prices North Of $100K To Fall In Line With Bentayga?
The Cadillac Escalade. It’s blingtastic. More importantly, it’s a wonderfully executed luxurious SUV that’s continued to be a solid money maker for the brand. Starting price? $72,970. Fully loaded and your bank account will go south by $95,870. Thing is, Cadillac doesn’t feel that top price is enough. According to Automotive News, Cadillac is considering increasing the Escalade’s price into the six-figure territory. A Cadillac spokesman claims that "The argument for doing it...is strong and momentum is moving it higher. It’s completely logical that’s where you go with it."

For the most part - Lexus sales are made up of an Entry level Front wheel Drive Sedan - and a small SUV - neither of which I consider to be Luxury vehicles. Their larger offerings are solidly beaten by other brands. If by their strategy - it is to make awful looking cars - and force them on people - that won't work.

Cadillac needs to become Cadillac again - by learning from their customers and making the large Luxury car that the US Market is lacking - they already have made two different "prototypes" - produce either and the market will come knocking. The US market has enough small premium sports sedans - and Cadillac saying that theirs are even smaller and more agile is not what the market wants - and so their cars sit on dealer lots.

Someone is playing on mom's computer. If he's a grown man with an anime fetish, his idea of reality is more than likely skewed as well. Tell you what man.... Go to a car show the next time one is in your city. Hop in a Lexus first. Start with the GS or IS. Then go sit in a Hyundai. You won't notice much difference. Then go sit in a Cadillac, Mercedes Audi, and BMW. No particular order.

Is Lexus a good entry level option? Absolutely. So is Acura and Infiniti. Heck... Even Lincoln has upped their game. That's your competition. Saying Lexus is the most luxurious car in the world is laughable.

Lol! Racist? No. Do I dislike stupid people with myopic views? Yes. Is your Japanese only mindset myopic? Absolutely. I can see the draw of Japanese lux brands. Heck... I just bought a GX for the wife. They have their place and do a good job. Doesn't mean they are the best. They are a good value but do not lead in any category. They are really good at many things but the trade offs in performance and lux versus other brands don't suit all buyers. Sorry. I see more build flaws in the GX than I do in my F150. Doesn't mean it's a bad vehicle. It suits our needs for winter weather and family. There are far more luxurious options out there though. Realize you are trolling but if you call someone racist, at least have a leg to stand on. Otherwise, you just look like a trolling butt hurt fanboy.

Good. The GM Escalade is grossly under priced. It should be at least $125,000 since as we know, GM makes the best cars in the galaxy.
I want to laugh at the fools buying Chevys with the Caddy logo.

The only time I ever see people drive these things in socal is when some douche bag blasts rap music with all windows down. @ 100k, I have even less respect for those idiots.

This is a great vehicle and its luxurious and its a great seller too. Its every-bit as good as a GLS Class or any-other Luxury SUV. There are very few differences. Some good, some not as good, but its a great, and competitive product.

Until GM can figure out how to make a fold-flat 3rd row, without the need to devour 5 inches of cargo height and force 5 extra inches of load height, then this car, in my opinion, will never be worth its price.

What makes ANY Car worth $100K? Does this have what those others have? So why not? Do those cars have solid gold seats? I mean seriously, what do they have that this doesn't? Engine, drive-train, interior, wheels, what is the THING that makes them worth it and this not? High repair bills? Oh...
