#IAA: Is There Anything BMW Individual Can't IMPROVE Upon? 4GC, 5GT And X6 Get Upgraded
For what feels like eons, I've always been a huge fan of BMW Individual. While the Bavarians do an OK job of creating nice interior spaces, there's always a little something missing. It's almost as though our German friends forget to add a bit of warmth to the cabin and it's all a bit too clinical.

BMW Individual remedies that very quick. It's a shame all of its products weren't given this treatment because then I am pretty confident the company would have a shot at being the interior specialists.

If you've been seeking further proof, stay with me here.

At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show BMW Individual showed up with a 435i Gran Coupe, 5-Series Gran Turismo and an X6. These two vehicles are quite controversial in the company's portfolio and have questionable looks. But, looking at the way the Individual team spec'd out both rides, I have to say they appear quite tasty.

Enough of what I think though. What's your take, Spies? Does BMW Individual's treatment pass YOUR smell test?

It's not overly impressive, at least not compared to the new 7-Series. I guess you got to pay to play, because there is still a very large gap in the Premium interiors between their entry level vehicles and their top end products. I miss late 80s/early 90s BMWs. I'd take that over this.

Completely agree with you on this. Huge gap in entry-level to top-of-the-line.

I like the light-colored wood in the X6 interior. The 4GC needs the wood interior trim to add something to it, otherwise it is a bit on the bland side.

I'm digging the woodgrain on the X6 steering wheel, however the color combination of light fabrics and light wood looks like complete shite.

Classic European color clash that doesn't make any sense. Like when a German wears a gray two-piece suit then throws on dark-brown suede shoes for a business meeting....true story.
