AWESOME or AWFUL? Is This Army-Inspired BMW M3 Getting YOUR Approval?

Being that this is a paint color story, I have to start this in the typical AutoSpies fashion. We adore cars, sure, but we LOVE how people have begun to personalize them to fit their character.

With BMW Individual, just about anything is possible provided you bring a checkbook. BMW isn't alone in this endeavor as a lot of the luxury car builders are happy to satisfy even the most zany requests.

One just checked in.

Posted in a BMW forum are images of what is called Urban Green. It's most certainly not your standard green or one of BMW's more well-known colors. Take, for example, Boston Green or Oxford Green.

Urban Green is essentially military green. It looks like something that belongs on an AM General Hummer or vehicle used to transport nuclear missiles to their respective launch pad.

So, what say YOU? Is this Urban Green M3 AWESOME or AWFUL?

Shouldn't it be matte finish? High gloss olive drab is very strange.

Its very cool...I just wish BMW would offer another choice, besides blue, for the brake calipers. They need a neutral matte silver or charcoal grey. Chrome calipers - definitely chrome calipers.

Not a big fan of bmw...but it looks good in this shade of green. Want to see one in desert tan.
