FIRST Real-Life Pics Of The 2016 BMW X1 — Agent 001 Brings Northern Mexico To YOU!
If you missed Agent 009's story about the 2016 BMW 340i earlier today, let me fill you in. Our head honcho here, Agent 001, was recently taken to northern Mexico — thank you, BMW — to test out a couple of 2016 model year products: the freshened up 340i and 2016 X1.

You may recall that the 2016 X1 debuted over the summer to much fan fare. That's because it looks MUCH more crisp over the outgoing X1's exterior design. Unfortunately, the X1 M Sport did not get its papers in order and was not present for this trip, but we're thinking this will be the hot ticket when it comes to acquiring an X1.

2016 BMW 340i and X1 SAV

According to 001 there's plenty to be enticed by when it comes to the all-new X1. For starters, it's increased in size in all directions and is about the dimensions of the last-gen X3. Considering the X5 grew in size, as did the X3, it only makes sense for the X1 to adjust accordingly.

Although this time around only the xDrive variant will be available for the X1, we're expecting it to remain aggressively priced to take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Lexus NX.

Having said all of this, we'll let you check out the all-new X1 in all of Mexico's Copper Canyon region. Let us know what you think of 001's photos!

Nice pictures, looks a lot better than the previous model! Love tree, donkey picture, surprised at how pretty the country side is. I have been to Mexico City by way of a train from Laredo many years back but don't remember seeing country side this pretty. Show us a few more interior pictures please.

Huge improvement over the previous generation and better looking than the current X3. BMW has finally fixed the award issue with the tailgate on the X3 and X5.

Looks like a Hyundai Sportage or Ford Edge. I'm sure the BMW lease will be awesome...

The JACKASS next to the x1 must be the owner of the cute cuv.

buy the Forrester...save at least $30k and retire early. AND..MORE RELIABLE THAN THE X1...SAVE EVEN MORE MONEY.

The rocker panel trim "kink" running length-wise b/t the wheels, make the entire side & 3/4ths views look 1M times better than any of the old X3/X1 models ever looked. Really looks nice, mature.

My wife loves her 2013 X1, and we were one of the first to get it in the US. But recently we started noticing a strange rattle noise lasting for 1-2 seconds after we turn off the car, or locking and unlocking the doors. It's coming from the engine are (somewhere below the engine). I only hear it in the morning when I unlock the doors with the key fob, and again after work when I lock the door with the key fob. It's weird, and very annoying. The closest BMW dealership is 140 miles away.
