I've driven in France before the overall, the French drive pretty disciplined. Sometimes, though, you'll see someone speeding over the mandatory 130 kph on their highways or 90 kph on their country roads. Beautiful countryside though. If you're ever in France, don't take the highways if you're not under time pressure. Local country roads are much more enjoyable and you really get to see something of France this way.

If only we had a manual for the guys in my county! Oh wait, we do! We call it the driver's handbook!

Most people don't know this, but most US states also have the "headlights on while in rain or snow" law.
If I was a cop, I'd be rich.

That would be people like me : )
Just drove from London to Brussels and back through France and 130kph is approx 87mph which is a crawl so I did the 130 stated; but in MPH : )

They do not drive like idiots :(
Its called Organized Confusion
Try driving in Manhattan, it's very similar.

^^^^^^^^^^^ LMAO ^^^^^^^^^^^

I know what you mean
First time ever in Rome and my friend asks me why every vehicle we drove past had Dents in them. Not one car was Dent Free, Plus over there they really regard the word Bumpers as just that, ( Something to BUMP the other vehicle with when parking )

My advice, only use Rentals if you are going to venture into Cities, and Motorways are ok for your own vehicle (Just make sure you have good brakes or Distronic )
