As far as Death Traps - the cars with the most deaths tend to be small cars - and the asian ones lead in that category - not GM

Yes, Bush did originally throw some chump change to GM- but obama gave GM the taxpayers bank. And yes, it was the US gov't who cash in early...why..what politics was behind closed doors when they decided to do this..Obama and GM only knows.

But did GM really payback taxpayers w/ company profits....HELL NO! They had TARP money given to them earlier in a escrow account that was used to pay us back (taxpayers). How nice...taxpayers paying ourselves back with our own money!

Last 2014 OMB report states we lost approx $15,000,000,000.00 in the bailout. Not much compared to the US trillions in debt! but it is still $15,000,000,000.00 not including interest and fees. This money could have been used for other public needs. GM then uses $900,000,000.00 (millions) to pay for ignition fines...hmmm...where did this money come from! SO, WE TAXPAYERS PAID FOR THEIR IGNITION FINE..SINCE THEY DID'T HAVE TO PAY BACK $15,000,000,000.00 (BILLIONS). Thanks Obama/UAW/GM...for putting the screws in the taxpayers back.

GM also knew about this ignition switch for at least a decade...but fail to do anything about this. They even argued that thru the bankruptcy process..no one can sue GM...that was the OLD GM..and now its a new GM! LOL..LOL... Yet NO GM exec has gone to prison. NO ONE. Obama and NHTSA force Toyota to recall for a overblown issue that NO ONE OR GROUP has ever found the reason why their veh. accelerated suddenly. NHTSA/Indpdt engineering agncy/NHTSA eventually could not find anything. Only reason is to many old people drinking alcohol at lunch and then driving their Avalon. The question is how many people each company killed and injured... GM by far w/ a known reason of negligence on the exec/engineering team. THAT IS A BIG DIFFERENCE. BTWN TOYOTA AND GM!
