#TOKYO: Toyota Talks The Talk About About New Supra, But Will It Be Able To Walk The Walk?
Unfortunately we won’t be seeing the new Toyota Supra at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. But the Japanese automaker isn’t content with letting Mazda and the RX-Vision concept steal the spotlight, so it dropped some tasty tidbits about the reborn sports car. In an interview with the Australian outlet Motoring, Toyota's chief engineer for sports vehicle management, Tetsuya Tada, talked at length about the upcoming hybrid. If his comments are any indication, then the new Supra will be worth the interminable wait

It seems that car designers are caught in a mindset of extremes. Lambo is in the extreme of sharp edges, flat surfaces, and trapezoids. The car pictured in this article is in the extreme of melted-wax-like fluidity and gouged voids. Meh.

Front and rear ends are atrocious. Another incredibly sophomoric design from the morons at Toyota.

I love the design, with the exception of the fighter-plane nose.

Who is it that is leading Toyota in this incoherent and horrendous styling change.?
While I agree that their styling was too "conservative" some of the designs they have come out with - including the Lexus cow catcher grill - are simply Bizarre. And we KNOW that they are being done for the US market by the width of the cars too. Have they been talking to Sarah Palin maybe!

I bet by the time this Supra comes to the market, everyone will go "Meh, outdated design, outdated performance. Just pure crap." Just like the 2017 Acura NSX.
I mean, what do you expect? They are Japanese, and Japan is a country suffering from Fukushima radiation, so oh well.

The Mercedes SLK from 2003-7 had that same kind of nose shape, and it sucked there too. Seriously - that alone would have prevented from buying that car.

If it's GTR priced it will be a sales failure like the GTR. If it is Mustang GT priced it will be a hit. The borrowed TVR Sagaris styling is what makes it so hot.

Sorry, nothing like the Sagaris which was a 1970's based Bradly GT kit car with deplorable reliability and handling.

i personally love the design. looks a little on the young side, but i think its fresh and loved it in person. after recently driving the lexus RC-F i feel if toyota wants they can make this car incredible. i was very impressed with the rc-f.

From the front it has a cartoon character face, side looks pretty good and I like the greenhouse as well.
