CAR WARS! WHO Did It Better? Lexus' LF-FC Flagship vs. BMW Vision Future Luxury
In the world of concept cars, this week the Tokyo Motor Show brought forth a slew of additions. One of the critical ones was the all-new Lexus LF-FC that essentially is showcasing the next-gen flagship product, the LS sedan.

We've seen this sort of thing before from other luxury automakers. An example of this would be the BMW Vision Future Luxury. Although we were hoping it would be a better indicator of how the all-new 7-Series would look, it wasn't a good predictor.

However, it did forecast the extensive use of carbon fiber in the all-new 7.

Having said that, we wanted to present you with both cars, the Lexus and BMW, and see which one YOU thought brought its "A" game.

So, WHICH do YOU like BEST? The Lexus LF-FC or BMW Vision Future Luxury?

To *MY* eyes, both are ugly in their own way, but BMW is less ugly, so I guess it "wins".

True... BMW (cept the rear... OMG). The future is glimming...

This war is going to be very long. Tail and front , better on BMW, profile Lexus win, Inside, lexus have a more comfortable seats place to rest your legs but still , they are at the same level.

I'd give it to the Lexus, despite its mega-Corolla looks. The BMW look like they just took an existing 7 Series and fancied up the front, rear, and interior.

They both look beautiful. Hard to pick, but I like the Bimmer

I think after seeing BMW's 2014 VFL, the 2015 7-series was a disappointment. The VFL looks production ready. The Lexus LS-FC looks like a "concept", especially the rear. The grille does not look that bad, more proportional than on other Lexus autos or SUV's.

I prefer Bmw.

Sorry - but they both have a way to catch up to the already produced Mercedes S-class. The BMW is always a disappointment - it never seems to change beyond being a bigger 3/4 class. And Lexus needs someone with EYES that actually work to redesign their nose - it was hideous when it first came out - and it not looking any better now.

Lexus...are for people that have freedom from time. Bmw..have no freedom from time...always in a hurry for their job.

Lexus / S-class is my choice.... people who work for me drive bmw/audi (fake it till you make it)

The Bimmer looks way better overall! The Lexus side profile looks ok but Corolla like and the front and rear styling just kills its and the styling looks beyond gross and dorky with those weird elements going on Lexus is trying way to hard to be different and it's big fail. The bummer looks more like a sophisticated luxury design and not try to go way way overboard like the Lexus just to get your attention but in a bad negative way. Lexus designs as of lately are all way overdone and hideous beyond belief not looking not classy like the europeans. The interior of both cars here is almost a tie they both look elegant and nice. I agree with — TomM these two cars are still behind the S-Class which didn't have to go way scream look at me I'm different but in a awful way.

They both look good, but Lexus will work and BMW will have tons of problems.....

I don't put much stock on BMW concepts these days. I was pretty excited when they introduced the 6 Gran Coupe concept, but when it finally came out, the finished product looked generic in the BMW sense. Unless you're an enthusiast, you can't even tell the difference between the 5 series and 6 Gran Coupe.

Lexus' LFA looks almost exactly like the LF-LC concept. I think the LF-FC will be a striking addition to the Lexus line-up.

Correction. The LF-LC is different from the LFA.

BMW takes this one and I sure hope they build this concept and call it the 9 Series like I believe I read might be their plan
