#SEMA2015: The #SEMAShow Brings BACK The Old-School Traits Of The Porsche 911 SLANTNOSE With A Twist

The 1980s was a weird time for everyone, I reckon. Corey Hart wore his sunglasses at night and a movie about teenage boys designing their dream woman on a computer (she comes to life) took the country by storm — Weird Science for those with poor memories.

Some truly wacky automotive designs and supercars were birthed during this period and Porsche's 930-generation 911s were given a very unique treatment. Dubbed the Slantnose, these very rare 911s were characterized by their differentiated front ends and some other touches, such as the "whale tail," slated venting behind the doors and blacked out wheels.

As it's tough to by an original factory car, there have been plenty of conversion kits sold over the years.

The color and the lower valance/black spoiler on the front are horrible, but all in all the car is niiiiice.

Just like an aging old past glory days photo beauty, the old Porsche 911 design is become bizarre looking. Too much 'botax and plastic surgery has left the 'new' 911 looking like a weird cartoon of its former self.
