Ford Mondeo Sedan concept images

When Ford announced they would be showing the Ford Mondeo wagon concept at the Paris Motor Show most of us were wondering why they weren’t showing the sedan version since it easily outsells the wagon. Well, we didn’t have to wait for very long to see the sedan either. It looks like these spy shots were taken at a photo shoot for the sedan.

Very, very nice.

In what way does it look like a TL, at all? I think the only reason you made that observation is because it has a similar beltline across the side. And the TL is a very handsome car, even if I like the TSX better.

If this replaced the Fusion in the states, Ford would topple GM! The Aura looks like a POS next to this!

I have to agree, if Ford sells cars like this in the US, they will have an increase in sales (and a pretty good increase btw).

this is what Ford needs in the States.. Much better looking car than a Accord or Camry. I don't think Ford should worry about competing with Acura but they should they to compete with Toyota and this car has the looks to do that.

Why the new Mondeo Sedan is first shown in the US?

My post was confusing. I didn't say it was to compete with Acura, but I did mention the TL in that post because someone said it looked like the TL (which isn't a bad thing). I did, however, say that it was much better-looking than the "Aura", as in the new Saturn sedan. And I like the Aura a lot for a GM.
