RENDERED SPECULATION: IF The All-New Fiat 124 Spider Gets A BOOST, Should It Look Like THIS?

RENDERED SPECULATION: IF The All-New Fiat 124 Spider Gets A BOOST, Should It Look Like THIS?
This week's Los Angeles Auto Show brought out some all-new products. Some connected with audiences while others struggled. One vehicle that seems to be stuck in the middle is the all-new Fiat 124 Spider.

Some love it, others hate it, and it seems that most are undecided.

BUT, it seems that some creatives are getting inspired by the likes of what Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has turned out previously. You know how the Fiat 500 has an Abarth variant? Well, it seems that someone took some creative license from that product and applied it to the 124 Spider.

That led to the creation of this:

After taking a look at the render, what do you think, Spies? IF a hotter variant of the 124 Spider comes to be, would YOU be ALL over THIS?

Take an ugly car and make it uglier? Lordy!

Except for a few details (headlights and corrugated hood), I like the stock version. If this car was built by a reputable manufacturer of premium vehicles -- like BMW, Mercedes, or Lexus -- I believe it would be a winner.

Loose the black hood, make sure it is putting out about 250-275hp, appropriate changes to handle the increase...should be great! Like these new front fender vents ala GT350, M3 & M4.

The spider should only come with a standard transmission

Why? Even Ferrari does paddle-flipper automatics.

Because I am not looking to win races in this thing. Just to have an enjoyable drive along the country side.

I think cars like this any special ones should be automatics stock, and charge extra for manual. Only 1/10th of the buyers buy manual. Second, like the photochop. Kind of reminds me of the classic nissan Z rally cars. It looks mean. And sometimes its better to look mean than pretty. Also this car should have been 250HP plus to make it different/better than the Miata. Miata is just a boring car.

If I wanted a Miata I'd buy a Miata.

Well it again harks back to the performance Abarth version of the 124.I would prefer one without a black hood but I look forward to driving this.
