SPIED + VIDEO: The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Convertible Is On Its Way, Spotted With LESS Camo Than Ever
I think it's safe to say that Mercedes-Benz is on a roll. The hits just keep on coming from the three-pointed star and, frankly, there's no end in sight. If you ask me, this is the hot brand right now. Audi and BMW aren't close at the moment — just my .02 cents.

While I've spoken about my love for the C-Class sedan, we've now seen the all-new C-Class Coupe debut. It looks damn good. But, the German luxury auto builder isn't through yet. That's because a C-Class Convertible is also on the way.

To us this makes sense as the CLK then E-Class Cabriolet always were priced a bit higher than the 3-Series/4-Series and A5 drop tops. Now, the C-Class will be able to get into the sweet spot occupied by the likes of the 428i/435i and A5 Cabriolet.

Considering my recent experiences with the C-Class, things are about to get VERY interesting in this drop-top battle.

Although it was pouring rain in Germany, that didn't stop walkoART from filming the all-new C Cabriolet as it was undergoing testing outside of the company's gates. Now that the vehicle has been stripped down a bit more, we can see it will, obviously, follow the same design as the coupe variant. In addition, note that the C will make use out of a cloth top rather than a folding metal roof as seen in other Mercedes products and the 4-Series.

Now less disguised - the new C-Class Convertible A205 (2016)

Finally! I was waiting for this. the E-Class was about $10-12K too much, and still not fan of the blocky interior (hopefully the new E will fix that). I was hoping though for a C-Class Cabriolet, and I was surprised when they announced the S-Class first.

Mercedes does tend to like to have complete lineups even if some things don't sell well, they like giving customers choice.

On a side note, does anyone know what happen to the user profile view? I used to be able to check stories i've commented on, now the page just 404's.

Yes, there is definitely some sort of programming bug - if you click on your profile you get "404'd". It used to list everything on which you commented, now you just get a bug error.

If the functionality is still there, please fix it, else give us a more elegant response, such as a dummy profile page with no links. The way its done now is sloppy.
