Is Nissan Finally Ready To Tackle Full Sized Truck Market With 2016 Titan? Would You Consider It Over American Iron?

The hot-selling full-size pickup truck segment is getting another new player: Nissan confirmed that the newly redesigned version of its full-size Titan pickup will make its debut towards the end of 2016.

The replacement for the Titan, which was first introduced in 2003 as a 2004 model, has been a long time coming. It will mark a new assault on the U.S. pickup truck market by Nissan.

Laughably bad. As said elsewhere it looks like a crude Chinese copy of the F150. Now factor in that it is the same old pickup underneath with all of the Titan's quality/reliability issues and this is a pathetic effort.

Ford and GM already produce trucks with exceptional reliability - (I do not consider FCA to be an American Company) - so much so that it is really really though to come up with any legitimate reason to consider any others. While "looks" may be important in other vehicles - you will find MORE small truck owners pointing out their longevity - even when beaten up.

Frankly - if I were GM and Ford -I would sell against FCA - as the FOREIGN competition - and ignore the other players.
