#NAIAS: LEAKED!? Did Mercedes PURPOSEFULLY Reveal Its All-New E-Class In This Game Of Where's Waldo?
So, you know those all-new images I posted of the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class last night? I actually forgot to make a note about it in my thread, but I wanted to say that if you looked closely at the images of folks working in the E-Class studio there were little Easter eggs all over the damn place.

Turns out that I missed the biggest Easter egg of all.

An eagle eyed individual at Auto Bild noticed that in one of Mercedes' images of the all-new E there was a picture tacked onto a board. It showed the progression of the E-Class over time as it changes from each generation and refresh.

At the very front is the all-new E.

So, it appears that Mercedes may have inadvertently revealed its all-new, 2016 Detroit Auto Show-bound (NAIAS) product. Or, it was just a genius marketing/public relations move.

Anyway, here she is in her full glory.

I think we can all agree there will be no surprises once the exterior is revealed in the coming days.

Although I dislike the notion of same sausage, but different sizes, the E Class will look better than the 5 Series (dull) and A6 (bland as hell).

Snobs will not consider the Genesis or the Genesis G90 in this segment.
The Lexus GS is pretty garish.
The Cadillac CTS is excellent, but strangely not memorable.

Oddly, I think the Lincoln Continental will be surprisingly strong in this price segment.

Completely agree... I think the new E is going to perhaps look better than either the C or the S from a proportional perspective. The size is "just right". The Continental I think is generating more excitement than the CT-6 which is available this February and though I expect it to be terrific the name and the styling are as you state, not memorable. The Continental makes quite a statement...

The E class will continue to run its segment and perhaps win over a few more Lexus/Audi clients with the new interior.

The Lincoln Continental will be irrelevant by the time it hits showrooms, unfortunately Ford is always late to the luxury races, and by the time the continental officially launches, it will already be lagging behind in both technology and performance.

Looks/Style can only take the continental so far...

so basically they attached the lower front bumper of a 2012 3-Series to the existing car.
