Alabama Site In The Running For New Aston Martin Assembly Plant
Aston Martin has to decide in the following weeks where to build its new plant. According to Reuters’ sources, the company has four site options in the UK, the United States and the Middle East. The new investment is part of an extensive expansion plan, as the company has to intensify its efforts to push for a revival of the brand, which is aiming to deliver both a crossover based off the DBX concept and electric supercars in the near future.

A source recently told Reuters that two British sites, one in the US state of Alabama and one in the Middle East, were being considered by the board of the mainly Italian and Kuwaiti private equity-owned firm. “The board is reviewing the options and will make a decision by the end of the year or the first few weeks of January,” the person familiar with the matter said.

Given Aston's partnership with Mercedes, my money is on a Vance, Alabama area site.

I love the quality of my "Amurrrican-made" GL350 Bluetek with Designo interior!

Next thing you know Aston Martin will be in NASCAR.

Give me an early 70s DBS. Yes I know it's heresy, but like the Jensen interceptor and the Jaguar XJS, bolting in a modern Chevy crate engine is surprisingly easy and makes these vintage sleds both exciting and drivasble every day.

Modern day Astons are hella wonderful. I'd love a Taraf.

Darringer you're a douche...people in Alabama can build the same car that they build in England. You're just a douche that believes the hype.
You suck!
