2016 Lexus GS F 101: EVERYTHING Lexus Wants YOU To Know About The All-New F Car

2016 Lexus GS F 101: EVERYTHING Lexus Wants YOU To Know About The All-New F Car
As I noted in a thread this past weekend, Lexus hosted me out in SoCal to drive the all-new GS F, the RC F and a bunch of other F Sport products. Included in those were the GS200t, IS200t and RC200t.

While I am very excited to tell you all about the 200 motors since these will move in volume, I am even more jazzed to give you the download on the all-new GS F. That's because there's quite a bit to talk about.

Lexus GS F and F Performance

Yes, even though it is down on power when compared to the likes of the Audi RS7, BMW M5, Cadillac CTS-V and Mercedes-AMG E63.

Before I crack an egg of knowledge all over you with my review though, I wanted to at least provide you with all the information that Lexus wants YOU to know about it's all-new sport sedan. As a bonus I've included the RC F's details as well. It will become more clear why when I publish my review.

Scope out the details, below!

When looking at the Lexus slideshow, I conclude that 2008 looks a lot better than 2016.

The GS looked pretty ordinary before. The front-end looks a bit better now, but the rear just looks cheap. Saw a new one yesterday from the rear and could have sworn it was a Kia. And the GS-F is priced about $10k higher than it should, as a starting price.

In the flesh I really liked the GS F's design; however, the taillights are rather peculiar and, frankly, boy racer-ish with the blacked-out bits.

LOL. Did Lexus also present a slide stating that they will sell only 3 or 4 of these cars?

I've seen 100x more Ferraris where I live (California) than F Cars.

As you can see above they did actually have a slide that said they are going to move about 2,000 units of the RC F and GS F, each.

I ran into an IS F owner tonight in my parking garage. I asked him a few questions and he was absolutely GLOWING about his product.

My favorite response was about reliability. When he asked he just extended his arms and said "Seriously? It's been perfect."

Enough said.

Lexus GS F = YAWN, ugly and over-priced but just right for the people who drive Lexuses that live in retirement communities for the 65+ years old and older.

Different strokes for different folks. Pretty confident you won't see too many 65 year olds driving F cars.

Funny I've only seen 3 RC Fs on the road here in NorCal and two of them were driven by grayed haired men who were at least 65+ years old and I think the RC F is targeted at the younger byers than the GS F.

Does the "F" stand for fu*king ugly?
