SPIED: All-New, Revealing Spy Pics Of The Updated Porsche 718 Boxster And Cayman — Can YOU Spot The Changes?
For about 12-18 months we've been seeing Porsche testing an updated Boxster and Cayman. Though we know the company had something up its sleeve, we certainly didn't expect the boys and girls from Stuttgart to rename its beloved Boxster and Cayman the 718.

But, that's just what happened.

While we know that the company will not be dramatically changing either vehicle's sheetmetal, we are always super interested in seeing what little changes it makes. That's because we have yet to see Porsche do something that wasn't an incremental change that wasn't interesting.

With these eye-opening shots of the new 718 models, you can tell that these vehicles will benefit from a slew of minor tweaks on the inside and outside. Most notably will be the availability of a boxer four-cylidner motor. In addition the usual changes will occur with the headlights taillights as well as some design changes to the front and rear clips.

Can YOU spot any other changes in these fantastic spy shots?

The addition of a 718 badge? I wonder...did VWAG hire de Nysschen back after firing him?

I'm not a Porsche owner or fan, so "spot the changes" to me are like "Where's Waldo." I also recognize some of Porsche's creations as iconic, and don't expect them to change much year to year. It works outstandingly well for them, and for those who appreciate these cars.

The 911 is the icon and the rest are caricatures. The 718 should have been a Porsche MR2 for $35K to sell to the masses, but I'd argue that 914, 924, and 944 resonate more with Porsche fans than 718.

Good spy shots. As a 2014 Boxster owner, I don't see any other changes besides the ones mentioned.

Nothing dramatic, other than they look to be a little lengthier. Still the best looking, best driving cars Porsche makes (GT3 and 917 excluded).

Not ground breaking news, but just noticed the mirrors on the 718 are different from those on the current Boxster.
