Happy Holidays! From The Agents To The Spies! It's The MOST Wonderful Time Of The Year...
Good evening, Spies!

It's the time of the year where we all get together with our families, fight over parking spots and wait for a big fat guy in a red velour suit to come down the chimney. Clearly, it's the most wonderful time of the year!

Although 2015 has been a challenging year for many of us, we are still incredibly grateful for the gift that's been bestowed upon us. No, it's not just automobiles — though I will admit an Aston Martin V12 engine is quite delightful. We're thankful for YOU, our loyal readers, that keep returning to find some of the most engaging, interesting and thought-provoking automotive content on the 'net.

We take pride in straying from the group think that pervades this industry and we hope you recognize that.

So, over the course of the next couple of weeks, please look around your dining room table and be thankful for your family, friends, prosperity and — of course — great automotive content. And, by the way, lay off the eggnog.

With love,
The Agents

P.S. How about this snap from Agent 001? This was from this past year's trip to Iceland with Land Rover for the launch of the all-new Discovery Sport.

My best to everyone here this holiday season. Abundant blessings to everyone.

2015 was a good year. My fourth and currently last son was born. We have 4 boys under the age of 5. I am enjoying the Christmas magic through their eyes and will soak up every minute of it. Christmas was never pleasant when I was a boy.

This year, much more than last year, people are surprising loved ones with new cars, so we have a pretty busy Christmas Eve delivery schedule. I enjoy facilitating the morning surprises. We have six flatbeds lined up.

While every Christmas well wishers tell us to appreciate those around us, I would encourage everyone to do that year around. If there's one thing my short life has taught me is that time is always the enemy that conspires against us.

Growing up, I did not appreciate my mother because she was hard to appreciate, but she probably needed someone--anyone--to throw her that lifeline and because I was so hurt and angry in response to her actions, I was always an iron fist. I walled off so as to protect myself. She passed two years ago at the age of 42. She was 15 when I war born, so why would anyone expect her to make good decisions? As an adult, I have the skills to be a better son, but she is gone.

My father was absent from my life for the span of 22 years and he was even more of a challenge to forgive, but I did. He has wrestled many of his demons and won and I am proud of him.

I am fortunate to be very close to my three brothers.

Bottom line, seek first to understand those you love and pray like mad that those who are adrift find their path.

Well said, @MDarringer.

2015 has been a rough year on my end but I am thankful to still be here and share experiences and love with those around me.

Merry Christmas! Enjoy it with your family!
