Tesla Upsets Owners After They Disable Autosteer From Autopilot Pilot System

After seeing the type of idiotic things people were doing with Tesla’s Autopilot system, we’re happy to report that the automaker has finally updated the Autopilot system with some restrictions in place. Recently, we saw an individual let the Autopilot system drive him around from the backseat, which was terrifying to watch. Unbelievably, this wasn’t an isolated case and even Tesla admitted that it had to do something about the system. With Tesla’s latest firmware update (7.1), Tesla has placed some restrictions on the Autopilot’s capabilities.

Autonomous cars equal the abdication of personal responsibility. If a person is not going to be responsible enough to drive their own cars, they should not be on the road.

Autonomous cars are NOT the abdication of responsibility, but actually increases it.

MorePower. What good is an autonomous car if you have to drive it? The whole idea is that you don't and can sit back and play with your phone. In the end the software written by the manufacturer is going to be held responsible.

Tesla is run by people who are "book-smart" but who in reality are really morons.

18 months from now, the various issues facing them - falcon doors, out of warranty teslas, customers who are sick of having their cars flat bedded for 100's of miles for repairs, etc.
