LEAKED! Is A HOT To TROT BMW 7-Series In The Works? M760i On The Way?
2015 brought a host of all-new vehicles to market but one of the more important offerings is the all-new BMW 7-Series. Set to take down the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, it certainly has its work cut out for itself. But that's, more or less, the fun of it all.

While the three-pointed star is off to the races with a standard model, AMGs, a Maybach edition and now a Pullman, BMW is lagging behind with just a 750i. Next up on the punch card though is a V12-equipped variant.

The 760i.

According to a set of leaked screenshots though, it seems that BMW may be ready to step into the ring with an M branded offering: the M760i.

Though I've made it perfectly clear how I have a great distaste for the rather sloppy use of the M brand and how the marketing department has been affixing the performance namesake to any standard BMW, I am hoping this isn't the case here.

The leaked images were pulled from a BMW configurator that folks believe was having a glitch and placing the new nameplate to the wrong vehicles. Anything's possible when technology goes wrong.

This "possibility" has all the excitement of FCA bringing back the AMC pacer and putting a V-8 in it - only in purple and orange!

Why not stretch a Mini - and put a v-12 in it.? The Seven Series is not a Bmw - in that it is NOT the Ultimate Driving Machine - and it is certainly NOT a luxury car - since they try to make it a sport sedan. Result - Schizophrenia.

The 7 Series is a huge stumble. It looks indistinguishable from the old car and no amount of hotrodding can overcome its lack of style.

BMW's 7 series look like a blown out 3 series or an enlared 5 series. It has no distinctive look. It look more like the lesser BMW than a premium BMW. Another tactical failure by BMW.

Too Little...Too Late...I'll take my S 63 or 65 please or perhaps give the 600 a try, or can I have that in Maybach trim as well, Benz is killing the high end super sedan game

I've said it many times before: BMWs end up with the 5, maybe 6 series.
