There are more stupid things
1- Moving to NYC - why - Mary Bara has PHONES - WHy would being in NYC be of value for a car company - UNLESS they plan to spin off the company at some future time - at which time they would need their own engines - transmissions - and lots of other things as well.
2 - Smaller but tighter and better handling. But they have NO spare tires - hardly any trunk space - and are cramped inside as well. THese are not American Luxury cars - Americans have already said with their wallets they don't want them.

Since it is Toyota that leads in all time recalls - not GM - I guess that no Toyota people going to prison should be above the GM call too.
