Actually - my first impression reminded me of the last generation (gen10) Eldorado/Seville. It had the minimalist approach to the Dash that Volvo has too.
Yes - I admit that the Eldo did not have an 8" screen

This car is NOT stunning. It has a retro Buick front end. Looks like an Oldsmobile Delta 88 from the side. And the rear is an abomination. Just my opinion ...

It's just you. Clearly just you. That exterior is old-school Buick and Olds. The interior is nice, but bordering on overly clean and aesthetic especially after seeing the new E-Class interior without fancy lighting and camera work.

The S90's interior is BOSS. I like the styling here better than the E-Class. While I appreciate the S/E's dual screens I despise how it looks with that large hump.

Well, I respect your opinion, but I'd easily take the E interior over this. And I'm basing this on personal experience with the XC90. On paper, the XC90 initially was, to me, the best in class. But after experiencing it first-hand in both regular and R-line trim, it was actually outright sterile and evoked zero emotion in me. It did not feel special. Whereas sitting in the new Q7, that is a phenomenal interior and it felt like a million bucks (too bad the exterior is so forgetful). Thank goodness Audi gives the two screens b/c I do despise that front monitor. Even the updated interior of the GLE was more to my liking than the XC90. Like the Q7, sitting in the GLE made me feel like I was in something upscale. Just like the difference between sitting in the new 7 Series vs. the S-Class. The S-Class just felt special while the 7 felt not much different than a 3/4 Series. There's no doubt the new E will evoke that same feeling, but will have to experience it in person.

Stunning vehicle - Volvo will knock it out of the park!

Volvo needs to launch a long wheelbase version and their domination of Lexus and Cadillac will be complete.
