Very Impressed with the level of Precision and Attention to detail involved in the Re-Skining of that vehicle. Other than the Wing-Mirror the Makeover is Near Perfect.

This Volga is way cool. Its a vast improvement over the last vandalization of a 6-series, known as the Fisker I think.
There would definitely be people interested in this is the US - workmanship looks beautiful. In fact, I bet that if this was sold stateside, more people would buy it then would buy the Audi pseudo-Lambo (the R8, right?).
If they gave George Clooney or Lindsay Lohan one of these to drive around LA for a few months - they'd have to put an addition on their factory to keep up with demand.
When can we buy one?

The Fisker is a lot better than you give it credit for, The Volger is a Retro Designed Vehicle with Steel Skin While the Fisker is Carbon Fibre Skinned, Both have Really High Levels Of Fit & Finish.

I think this should be the next Z6 ;)
Great work though, indeed.

Isn't this car based on an old BMW 8-series platform? Or it just uses the 8-series old V12 motor?

I like it, very sleek for a convertible.

I hate it, but that's just me. If it was possible to make the 6 more ugly they have done it.

I don't think so. You have to realize that this is a very, very exclusive car, whereas the R8 will be highly publicized. The R8 is relatively mass-market, while I'm sure this isn't scheduled to sell more than 100 or 200 per year. Very nice, though. Just very different; you can't compare it to the R8.

absolutely stunning!
whilst beiing a great fan of the cabrio 6 series, and not at all of retro styling, this is by far the best retroshape i've seen in a long time; beats any of the big manufacturers retrocars (it could do with a bit toning down though)
