#NAIAS: LF-LC A Reality? Lexus Hints At New Performance Vehicle For Detroit Auto Show

Lexus has announced a new vehicle will debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week with on the Lexus USA website.

While there isn't a teaser image of the vehicle along with the announcement, only the teaser does suggest a performance model.  The most logical choice for quick production would be a version of the LF-LC concept that we first saw at the Detroit show in 2012.

Stay tuned because the reveal will be broadcast live from the Detroit Auto Show on Monday, January 11th at 12:45pm EST.

Beyond the few hundred tried-and-true Lexus Muscle Fanboiz, is anyone really that interested?

Completely agree... who cares? Their cars are such yawners and fraggin hideous too....

If the LC coupe is reproduced faithfully from the concept, I'm very interested. The BMW 6 Series is dowdy looking and the Lexus Concept was killer. Build it, they will come.

It desperately needs to be a new LS.

Let's see if Lexus knows which direction they want to take with this "performance" car. Rightly powered, but sorely overweight like the RC-F. Or nice and light but relatively underpowered like the GS-F.

The RCF is sold out with a waiting list.

And Toyota Camry's sell 40k units a month. What's your point?

@cidflekken I sincerely hope you did not do debate in school because your illogical thinking would have netted you nothing but losses. The point is that the RCF is more than successful. Everyone always brings up BMW and Mercedes as the benchmarks, but the way to succeed against them is to NOT be them. The RCF is not an M4. Just as the GSF is not an M5. Lexus found a sweet spot in the market with the RCF and the GCF may as well.

The ad pictured above is the best I've ever seen Lexus look! No gaping spindle grille—awesome!

I'm in their target market, but they don't produce anything I'd even remotely consider buying.

They are just trying to steal attention away from the Q60.
