#NAIAS: Genesis Sweats The Details INSIDE The New G90 - Can You See Yourself Enjoying This Sanctuary?
Many of you thought Hyundai had arrived with the Genesis Luxury Sedan a few years back.  But we insisted this was the first step of a greater plan and we encouraged you to wait and see.  Now just a short time later Genesis is the new luxury nameplate for Hyundai which will represent a whole line of luxury vehicles.

We will refrain from saying we told you so, but if you take a look at the new G90 sedan for the new marque you can already see both the exterior and interior are light years ahead of the prior models.  So much so in fact it is making us wonder if they a have already slotted above Lexus in a few ways.

This will tend to sort out in the near future, but as you can see from below the G90 is pretty impressive as it is right now.  The real question is will it eventually slot above or below the Japanese brands?

I wonder how many drivers will accidentally activate the infotainment knob settings when attempting to switch gears.

COMPARED TO BENZ E-CLASS, WHICH LOOKS LIKE THE CLA. G90 LOOKS MORE IMPRESSIVE!

I see a lot from BMW interior and also Audi , but old technology , that's the only way to climb for them in something more decent. Exterior everybody know they get better angles for the three German brands and they get their "design" and good to go.

Hodge podge.

That steering wheel is terrible.

So many seat controls so poorly located.

Let the anti-Korean bigots continue to salute Germany. I lived with a Kia K900 for a few months and while it was not ready for prime time as a premium, it certainly was not incompetent. Hyundai/Kia learn quickly. I will be angling for an extended test drive vehicle from H/K. Of course I want a Continental loaner too. LOL

Replace the wing badge on the wheel with 4 rings or a stupid looking 'modified peace sign' badge and people would be drooling over how 'gorgeous' it is.

To me it looks way better than the boring a8 or that godawful hideous s class interior. And this is just the first try; it will only get better.

Interior is nice looking but after lengthening the wheelbase by 4.5 inches over the Equus, how can Hyundai explain the one inch LOSS in rear legroom?

If there's one dimension on this car that should have grown, it's rear legroom. The similar sized new 7 series has SIX INCHES more. That's a lot!

The outside of this car is just unattractive and dated. The interior looks like they copied a 7 Series but on a serious budget. This car will not do well in the states.

The taillights look like they came straight from the ill fated Equus.
